How long have you been in business?

I have been a Financial Advisor since April 2009. Way2Wealth Management Inc. has been in operation since February 2018.

What is your experience as a Financial Advisor?

When I started in April 2009, I was a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. In March of 2011, I worked for a large Canadian Bank, as a Financial Advisor, aiding clients in their Retirement Planning. In September 2012, I joined a local Wealth Management company, where I worked aiding their clients in their Retirement Planning needs. This is where I stayed until February 2018, when I started Way2Wealth Management Inc.

What designations do you currently hold?

I currently am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), through FP Canada.

How are you paid?

Most investments I offer my clients are pre-approved Mutual Funds, that have a Management Expense Ratio (MER). This MER is an annual fee that is charged by the Mutual Fund company on an annual basis. A portion is kept by the Mutual Fund company, and a portion is paid to me, which is then further distributed between my company, Way2Wealth Management, and my Mutual Fund Dealer, Investia.

How many meetings do you require before I have a set Financial Plan?

Financial Plan’s aren’t something I consider “set”, they are working documents that we review annually. Each review comes with tweaks and adjustments that help us to stay on path or better position us to get on path. To get to this stage, it usually takes three to four meetings before our working document is giving us a clearer picture of where we are.
